How you can help us
CEFARH’s work in Uganda succeeds because we do not do it alone.
Since 2010, every result we have achieved has been possible thanks to those who chose to get involved — with resources, skills, connections or voice. No form of support is more important than another: there are different forms of support, and each one is necessary.

Donations
90% of every contribution directly funds field activities in Uganda.
10% covers the costs that make the work possible.
Donate once or on a recurring basis.
Every amount helps. A monthly donation, even a small one, allows CEFARH to plan interventions over time — not just respond to emergencies.
Donate nowSponsor a child
Directly support a vulnerable child in Northern Uganda in completing primary school, secondary school or a vocational training program. A specific path, a measurable impact, real updates on progress.
Contribute to infrastructure
The Alessandra Technical and Vocational Institute is CEFARH’s vocational training centre. Every contribution to infrastructure expands the institute’s capacity to train young people over time.
Provide technical materials
Tools for carpentry, tailoring and mechanics workshops — materials that have an immediate impact on training quality. If you have access to suppliers or can arrange in-kind donations, get in touch.
Donate via bank transfer.

Volunteering
We are not looking for general volunteers. We are looking for people with specific skills, willing to put them to work in a real context.
Profiles we need
- Doctors, nurses, mental health workers — for health programs
- Educators, trainers, experts in inclusive methodologies — for education programs
- Agronomists, agricultural technicians — for economic independence programs
- Fundraising, communications and organisational management experts — for institutional strengthening
How it works
Tell us about your background and availability. Together we will assess where your contribution makes the most sense — in person or remotely. We do not offer tourist experiences: we offer the opportunity to work on a real problem with skilled people.
Apply as a volunteerStrategic partnerships
The organisations, companies and institutions that work with us are not funding a project: they are co-building a result.
Schools and educational institutions Partnerships to waive school fees for the most disadvantaged children, or to integrate learning through play programs into the curriculum. We work with institutions that share an inclusive approach to education.
Private sector and NGOs Co-funding of programs in reproductive health, gender equality and economic empowerment. If you work on similar issues in different contexts, a collaboration with CEFARH can amplify the impact of both parties.
Local governments and public institutions Aligning interventions with national policies, using existing health facilities for mobile services, and coordinating reporting to institutional funders.
Advocacy
Not all resources are financial. Visibility, credibility and the ability to get a message to the right place have real value.
Take part in campaigns for reproductive rights, inclusion of people with disabilities, and equal access to education. Not as a symbolic gesture: as action with measurable goals.
Share accurate information about mental health. Help dismantle the narratives that keep people away from the services they need.
Spread CEFARH’s stories — on your channels, in your network, with those who could become a partner or a donor. Trust is built through the consistency of the voices that speak about an organisation.
