How are my funds used?
Your funds directly finance field activities:
scholarships, vocational training, mobile clinics, and mental health campaigns in communities. 90% of every donation reaches people in Uganda. The remaining 10% covers the operational costs that make the work possible — management, reporting, coordination.
What percentage goes directly to activities?
90%.
The remaining 10% covers the administration needed to run the organisation responsibly. We publish our financial reports — anyone who wishes to can verify this.
Can I sponsor a specific child?
Yes:
The Sponsor a Child program allows you to directly support a child in Northern Uganda in completing a school program or vocational training. You receive real updates on their progress. Write to us to get started.
I run a school — how can I join the education programs?
We are open to partnerships (…)
with schools that share an inclusive approach. We operate primarily in the districts of Lira, Abim and Kole in Northern Uganda. Write to us and describe your situation: we will assess together.
Are you a legally registered organisation?
Yes:
CEFARH Foundation Uganda is registered as a company limited by guarantee with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB). We have a formalised board of directors and public financial reports.
What skills are you looking for in volunteers?
Doctors, educators, vocational trainers (…)
agronomists, mental health professionals, communications experts, fundraisers. Describe your background in the contact form: we respond to every application.
I cannot donate money. How can I still contribute?
By volunteering, sharing CEFARH’s work in your network,
taking part in advocacy campaigns, providing technical materials, or connecting CEFARH with potential partners or donors. Every form of involvement has an impact.

Do you offer vocational training to those who apply?
Yes:
Through the Alessandra Technical and Vocational Institute and our livelihood programs, we offer hands-on training in carpentry, welding, tailoring, mechanics and construction. The programs are aimed primarily at young people and women in Northern Uganda.

Who are the beneficiaries of your programs?
Young women, children and young people (including those with disabilities),
and families in financially vulnerable situations in the districts of Lira, Abim and Kole in Northern Uganda. Priority is given to those most excluded from existing health, education and economic systems.
